SCIENCE BIOGRAPHY

I’m a speech-language pathology clinical fellow and Ph.D. student in the Communication and Memory Lab.  I’m interested in the social and emotional deficits resulting from traumatic brain injury, especially in populations with reduced access to services (e.g., lower socioeconomic status, people of color) . 

 

NON-SCIENCE BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in New York, although my entire family hails from the island of Trinidad. I did my undergraduate work at Northwestern University and received my Master's degree from Vanderbilt University. I enjoy reading, traveling, and music (listening and playing).
