KIM WALSH, EdS

SCIENCE BIOGRAPHY

I hold an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and a B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University. My training and experience as a school psychologist enabled me to support students' academic, emotional and behavioral development through comprehensive assessments, data-driven decision-making, therapeutic interventions and close collaboration with educators and families. I subsequently worked as an internal case manager for a post-acute traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation program, where I coordinated interdisciplinary care and facilitated patients’ transition back into their communities. Currently, I serve as the Clinical-Translational Research Coordinator for the Communication & Memory Lab, where I help drive research efforts aimed at enhancing long-term recovery and quality of life for individuals with traumatic brain injury.
