SHARICE CLOUGH, M.A., CCC-SLP

SCIENCE BIOGRAPHY

I am a doctoral student researcher in the Communication and Memory Lab at Vanderbilt University. My science investigates the memory systems that support gesture use. I aim to extend this work to people with brain injury in order to understand how gesture interacts with cognition in this population and how it might be leveraged to improve communication and learning outcomes for people with cognitive-communication disorders. Previously, I got my master’s in speech-language pathology from the University of Iowa.

NON-SCIENCE BIOGRAPHY

I am an Iowan feeling right at home in Tennessee. I love sunshine, nature walks, running, and making wildlife art. On a given day, you might find me nestled up with my cat and a good book or trying a new recipe.
